Longest flattest Bunney slope? What is the best beginner slope in the western US?
There is a nice fairly flat always smooth run at Crystal Mtn, Wa. The Summit at Snoqualmie has several, but they are shorter. To an experienced skier 3+ days, all bunny slopes are flat. It is a matter of perspective and experience. I'm sure that you will get other candidates for the best beginner slope, much of it is grooming and the terrain. You also have to contend with other skiers. Come join the fun. Take a series of lessons from a qualified professional ski instructor. Learn to do it safely and with courtesy. I think you should ski in Colorado....especially Vail Resort...they have a little short chairlift that takes you to a giant bunny slope (not giant in steepness, giant in length!). Also, as you progress, they have trails that are alittle more difficult than that, so yeah.
Also, I learned at Copper Mountain in Colorado. Copper is my FAVE place to ski. It's amazing, great slopes, nice employees...I love it.
Northstar @ Tahoe is commonly referred to at flatstar. It's a pretty family friendly mountain, and has a lot of beginner slopes; if you're thinking of Tahoe. Have fun!
Ive always liked Schoolmarm at Keystone. Four O'Clock is a nice long flat groomer at Breck, but it does have a couple sections that are a little steep to be considered a bunny slope.
Deer Valley in Utah (right by Park City). Its definitely a beginner to intermediate hill all the way around.
