I need to loose weight alot of it. lol but I also have a bad back due to my weight. my doctor told me that yoga will help with that, but I have never done it and I want to make sure that I wont hurt myself while doing it. what is the best way to do this successfully?I want to start yoga so I can loose weight and that will benefit my health, I am a beginner with yoga.?
The best yoga to lose weight is a form of Power Yoga by Diamond Dallas Page called YRG. It is yoga based but they added in other exercise movements to get you in your fat burning zone. They sell DVD's or have online videos at www.GreatDrills.com What I like about it is that they have a starter level that eases you into the positions but still gives you the benefits of the program. I do it from home without any other equipment. Good Luck!I want to start yoga so I can loose weight and that will benefit my health, I am a beginner with yoga.?
Congrats for wanting to take a step towards a healthier lifestyle! Yoga is a wonderful way to get fit both physically and mentally! I recommend you do Power Yoga as it burns a lot of calories while toning your muscles. Rodney Yee has some really great DVDs you can do in the privacy of your own home. Try going to Amazon.com and looking at some DVDs and read the reviews. Good luck!
1. The best benefit of doing yoga is to prevent all kind of dieases, so it can be sure that it wont hurt yourself if you do with the correct way.
2. If you like ,there is a free yoga video for the beginner: http://yg.fortune998.com.cn/
I do yoga, and it has done WONDERS for my joint problems. I started out with getting a dvd from the store. They usually have variations in the routines so that you can adjust the program to your comfort zone and abilities. Just remember the the whole ';No pain, no gain'; thing is a myth - if it hurts, don't do it. Some muscle soreness is normal as you get used to using muscles that more often that you didn't before, but PAIN is bad. Just find a video that you find interesting, and start slow. It's a gradual process, and yoga makes you feel wonderful and relaxed afterwards. Many videos even tell you ';if you have back problems, do this excercise THIS way instead....';. You will get better as you go. The video I highly recommend is called ';Yoga conditioning for weight loss'; done with Suzanne Deason. I wish you the best of luck, and have fun with it!

Why don't you get him some golf clubs? He won't know the difference between a banjo and golf clubs, just like you apparently don't know the difference either. This is the golf section.Whats the best banjo to get as a beginner?
I'd go with Callaway
Go to your nearest golf shop and ask for a ping banjo

For a beginner, how long after I start body building will I notice results?
I started lifting 10 pound weights and I saw muscles forming in a week. It all depends on how your body is made. For a beginner, how long after I start body building will I notice results?
That depends on your body and how intense your workouts are. Either way you should see minor changes within a few weeks. Don't rush things. It doesn't happen over night.

Easiest of the Scott Joplin rags for a beginner-intermediate pianist?
I've been playing for about 8 years, but my teacher was very laid back so it's a very loose 8 years. I have a book of Scott Joplin rags, and I'd love to learn to play one of them, but just flipping thru and sight-reading a few, I couldn't really tell which ones seemed easier.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe as to which piece they found easier? Easiest of the Scott Joplin rags for a beginner-intermediate pianist?
To me, The Entertainer has always been the easiest of Joplin's rags, whether it be on piano, banjo or guitar.

What are good guitars to buy for a beginner? READ DETAILS!?
I want to learn to play the guitar, but don't know what kind of guitar to buy. Well, I know I'm just going to buy a regular guitar, (not electric) but I don't know like what brand to buy. What are good guitars to buy for a beginner? READ DETAILS!?
you can usually go down to musos corner kind of shops and buy cheap liittle acoustics...their called legends...worst brand you can get but good for biginnersWhat are good guitars to buy for a beginner? READ DETAILS!?
I advise all my beginner students to try the Yamaha acoustic....they have very nice ones at the guitar center.....you have to be the one to pick it out.....you have to test the sound....and the action ( make sure that the strings aren't too high off the fingerboard )....to make sure that it's what you like, all guitars sound different....even the same brand.....you could have five Yamaha's and they all would sound different . If you can't play get someone to go with you to play the sound for you , and then you try the action.....if you don't know anyone then get the clerk to demonstrate it for you, good luck to you !!!
The Yamaha suggestion will take a lot of the guess work out of it for you. My sis had one and it was just fine and thirty years later it's still around and playable.
One suggestion for when you go to pick out a guitar.
Go with someone who can play and let them play it and you listen to it. This way you can concentrate on the sound of the instrument and not be all bashful about your playing. (Playing in shops bothers even the best sometimes). You play it too to see what the action feels like and make sure it's agreeable but this way you have another opinion to bank on.
Almost every pawn shop seems to have a ton of guitars, I would check the pawn shops in your area.
You should check Ibanez or Yamaha for nylon string guitar. Much easier to play and less danger of breaking your nails.
They cost around $90 and surprisingly, they play very well.
well,if u r a beginner, you are absolutely right. You wnat whats called an acoustic guitar, and the best starter brand i can think of is first act.I got my first one for $60,and the highest i spent for a good acoustic guitar is $800.(I own 3 first act acoustics,2 fender electrics and a B.C Rich Electric.I also have 2 bass guitars)

What are some simple guitar tabs for a beginner?
i'm a beginner on the electric guitar and was wondering if anyone Had any links to some simple and fun guitar tabs that are simple and do not require chords?
I would like something that is a well known song and would be fun to learn how to play. A Beatles song, if possible.
I've been struggling to find good Beatles tabs that are not just chords.
but any song will do, really :)What are some simple guitar tabs for a beginner?
She Said She Said. It's by The Beatles, and you get to use distortion.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/b/be鈥?/a>
This is a good version of it. The easiest part would be guitar 2, which is a lot of the same note throughout. The chorus is a little tough, but just practice it.
Oh and you need a capo, so I hope u have one, or it'll be a lot harder. What are some simple guitar tabs for a beginner?
Actually, songs with chords are typically easier then ones with a bunch of individual notes. For example, Smoke on the Water is all bar chords and that a common song for beginners to learn. Here's a single note version of ';Smoke on the Water'; that should be in the same octave:
High E string (5th fret)
A string (3rd fret)
A string (5th fret)
High E string (5th fret)
A string (3rd fret)
A string (6th fret)
A string (5th fret)
High E string (5th fret)
A string (3rd fret)
A string (5th fret)
A sting (3rd fret)
E string (5th fret)
Repeat if desired...
Hope that helps. I just figured that out in my head and didn't copy it from anywhere.

Is Merano a good flute brand for a beginner?
I just started playing the flute for my high school band. I want a closed hole flute for a good price. Is Merano a good brand to buy? Can you recommended any other brands? Is Merano a good flute brand for a beginner?
This flute is TRASH. The person who said that it is ';close to professional'; is delusional. There is NO SUCH BRAND - the factories that make these will put ANY name you want on them. Get a decent flute, even used - a Yamaha, Jupiter, Emerson, Etc. If you go to a REPUTABLE site like www.fluteworld.com, you can see what brands are sold there, and let that guide you in your search. Do not get a Gemeinhardt, Armstrong, or Artley - these were my top recommendations 25 years ago, but those companies have fallen onto hard times, and their flutes do not compare at all to the brands I have listed above.
Good luck with your flute playing - and enjoy being in band!Is Merano a good flute brand for a beginner?
my friend started with this one.
WD406 (Merano Student Flute Outfit)
Standard Key of C. Quality pads. Closed Hole. All of the features you will find on a quality student Flute. It's also backed by a 1 year warranty to the original owner.
this, according to him, is close to professional flute.
No experience from Merano but I can at least recommend Yamaha, they are not too pricey but still are of good basic quality.

Any tips on getting cheap equipment for a beginner paranormal investigator?
What kind of equipment....where to get it.....etc.Any tips on getting cheap equipment for a beginner paranormal investigator?
Go to EBay and look up EMF detector (not the one with cord because they go off too easily), Ambient Temp Gauge, Digital Camera(not a cheapo one either cause you get really poor pictures and the pixels will be crappy and you will think that you have something and you don't)
A digital voice recorder or hand held cassettete player (make sure you get plenty of batteries for all of your new equipment) If you get a the hand held casset play get some labels so you can seal them off so you don't reuse them and you will also know if someone has tampered with the cassettes)
You can also look up night shot video cameras or IR cameras.
And one more thing....never charge for an investigation. A reliable group will never charge a client! If you need help with any of this get in contact with me, I will be more then happy to help you.Any tips on getting cheap equipment for a beginner paranormal investigator?
Your lucky day.
First check with the group that you might join. They might have specific tools or information that they want you to use and know.
Here is the best price I've found anywhere for the essentials that many groups use, others require further study and actually have grades of ghost hunter but these will get you rolling and quickly.
First let me add a bit of advice, under no circumstances should you ever test your house or dwelling for EVPs! Cause you're going to scare the crap out of yourself then what are you going to do and where are you going to live?
Now for the toys!
This is the best price anywhere for this duo, I ended up buying them separately and getting only one of them from ST, loosing a little in the postage but here is the whole shebang sans voice recorder, you're on your own for that.
Some groups will require you know the information in ';How To Be A Ghost Hunter (Paperback)'; before you join and will be tested on it. I suggest getting a new one from Books4Little for a couple of dollars. Really very helpful since it distinguishes between ghosts, spirits, etc. The author describes his experiences getting into ghost hunting and how his hobby blossomed into a business. Some of the information is dated when it comes to available equipment but I'm already giving you that info now. Really indispensable if you haven't studied your soon to be favorite pastime.

Really thats all you need to get started, and a place to investigate. You dont need a bunch of fancy electro magnetic detectors or gieger counters or whatever they are using on tv these days.
Later if you save up some money, you can get a nice pro-level camcorder, SLR camera, and stuff like that.
Cover a box with tin foil, and draw meters and dials and stuff on it. You can connect a stick with taped wire or string and pretend it's a sensor. The results will be similar to more expensive equipment.

What is a good beginner sports bike?
I just finished my safety riding course and now looking for a first bike. I was looking at a smaller bike like the ninja 250r as a first bike. However, I'm 6'2 and 220lbs. Is this bike going to be too small for me? Would it be too big of a jump to go to the ninja zx 6r? I am also taking the next level of safety riding courses too. You can never be too careful! Thanks! What is a good beginner sports bike?
zx6 r6 cbr600 or a gsxr6 would all be fine starter bikesWhat is a good beginner sports bike?
Youre a large human! And the 250 will prolly top out at 50 miles na hour up hill and 85 or 90 downhill. On flat ground id say you could reach 70-75.
Id say with your size id aim for a 500cc bike, or even a 650. After 650 bikes kinda start getting big, but you have the weight to throw em around or keep em up. the only issue i could see in a bigger engine is not knowing the sensitivity of the control of higher performance bikes. So id suggest staying lower cc's til you get really comfortable.
not too sure for you as you 6'2'' but a cbr 250rr ?? its fast fun cheap and cheap too insure ( well where i live anyway) but i'm only 5' 7''....laser printers medicine cream car oil liquid powder

Good songs for a beginner to learn on Ukulele?
I picked up a Tenor Ukulele and would like to learn. What are some simple songs I can learn that will get me familiar with it?Good songs for a beginner to learn on Ukulele?
Iv just bought one also!
I think, no matter how silly they are, folk songs like What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor are quite good. Simple chords. Maybe Kumbaya My Lord would work aswell. Anything like that really.Good songs for a beginner to learn on Ukulele?
I have a tenor and soprano ukulele, and although the soprano is smaller, I think it's better to learn on. Plastic models are good and relatively cheap.
Avoid the traditional songs that are in piano or guitar books for beginners. The Uke was most fashionable back around the 1920s. Try to find any music from that time period. The undisputed ';champ'; of the uke is Cliff Edwards also known as ';Ukulele Ike.'; There are books of his songs and sometimes you can find him in an old movie. Try songs like ';Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue'; or ';The Dark-town Strutters' Ball'; or ';Ja-Da.';

How much does a Beginner Driver Education Course cost in Canada?
Average cost for Ministry approved driving course in Ontario. How much does a Beginner Driver Education Course cost in Canada?
That's debatable. It depends upon which company you choose to take your driver's education course through.
There are probably some that cost a couple hundred bucks and you can pay all the way up to several hundred bucks (close to $1,000) if you're willing to pay that. All of them offer different packages for the price too.... read through all of that carefully and understand what you're purchasing.
I took my driver's education course through Canada Driving School (in Waterloo region) and paid about $500 I think. Now, that was almost 13 years ago.... :) .... the price may have gone up since then. I think at that time, Young Drivers of Canada charged the most to take a driver's education course. Perhaps times have changed though.... just call around. Good luck!
Not only will you be able to drive by yourself sooner if you take one of these driver's education courses, you'll also learn lots of good stuff too!

Whats the best instructional dvd to learn guitar for a complete beginner?
There are quite a few of them...I'll give you some of the sites where you can order them and you be the judge. I've taught classical and acoustic guitar for years and some of the sites that I've seen are great for learning on the Internet or from DVDs, videos, Cd's, and on line tutors....There's nothing like a private teacher but I know that a lot of kids cannot afford them, so this is the next best thing.

I have found my first horse. Should I put her in a shared or private paddock? Im a beginner?
Im a beginner and am a proud first time horse owner...I am needing to learn almost everything..
But I have finally found myself a horse. Her name is Abbey. She is 18 years old (a very healthy 18) thoroughbred. I got her to learn to ride on.. So I will only be riding her lightly.
Should I put her in a shared paddock with around 9 other horses? Or put her in a private paddock? Is it better to learn one on one with my horse or is it just as easy learning with other horses around?I have found my first horse. Should I put her in a shared or private paddock? Im a beginner?
I assume that your horse will be brought inside in the evening. One of the main concerns would be how easy or difficult your horse will be to ';catch'; when you are preparing to ride her. Some stables will keep the horse in on the days you want to ride, but horses really like to be outside with or around their buddies. If the horse is very hard to catch or if the other horses just hang around the gate, getting in the way, you would need assistance in catching her for awhile, as this can be challanging under those specific circumstances. If those things are not a problem, then horses do really like to be with other horses. The only other things that can happen are scuffs and scratches as the horses get used to each other. Some younger horses can play very hard, but of course, playing is what horses like to do when they are not simply grazing. They even play ';halter tag'; - not a joke, if they are wearing halters. A horse in a private paddock should really be adjacent to the other horses, as they can feel insecure by themselves. The herd instinct causes them to need the comany of other horses, even if just over the fence. We had our horse in a private paddock for awhile when the barn owners preferred this. He did his best to find a way to interact with the other horses next to him, even putting his hoof on the fencing, which worried me in that he could have gotten hurt if his leg went all the way through the fencing. He suffered a variety of cuts and scrapes once he was put into the owner's larger paddock with other horses, as they have to decide who is top horse, low horse on the totem pole, and all the inbetween, but it was worth it for our horse, because he was much happier. Ask the current owners what they think Abbey will like. Barn owners will have to keep an eye on the situation to see how the ';getting used to each other'; thing goes, but perhaps after the horses get to know Abbey in other barn situations, and maybe with her in a private paddock temporarily, she will do well with other friends. Additionally, using a private paddock temporarilly may serve to help you get used to catching her, and help her get used to you and your presence. This may make you feel a little more secure until you are ready to put her in the paddock with other horses for play and company.
Since this horse is for learning to ride, will you be taking lessons? Many people take lessons, even when they have ridden for quite some time, and lessons help you to get used to how to deal with the horse you have just purchased. If the barn you are planning on keeping Abbey at does not offer lessons, you may want to consider a barn where you can get that as an option, even if you do not use it right away. This will give you a good idea what to do with Abbey, what type of exercises to do with her, etc. Riding with other horses or alone will depend upon Abbey's temperment. Some horses are much more comfortable with other horses riding along in the same ring. Some horses find this distracting, especially with a beginner rider. I would think if Abbey is a ';beginner'; horse, that would not be too much of a concern once you are used to her, but in the mean time lessons 1x per week, at least for the first 2 or 3 months may be a good idea. Also, if you have not yet purchased the horse, you may ask whether the owners would let you do a 30 day trial, in the event you have any questions about whether the horse will work out, or not.I have found my first horse. Should I put her in a shared or private paddock? Im a beginner?
You've made a very wise choice in a sound, older pro.
Horses are herd animals, they like to be around ';friends.'; You should introduce her slowly, though, and with supervision. Can she be in an adjacent paddock by herself at first to let her get acquainted over the fence? If so, a couple of days like that, then introduce her to the herd on a day you can be there to observe for awhile.
You shouldn't ride her out in a paddock with other loose horses until you have some experience because you never know what THEY might do.
Having her in the paddock with others may also reveal some challenging traits...herd bound, buddy sour...where they don't want to leave their pasture mates.
If there is a continual turnover in the herd, like at a boarding facility with lots of comings and goings, I'd be very reluctant to leave her out with strange horses. A bully can come in and beat the daylights out of an older animal.
Horses are herd animals and should NEVER be kept alone. Horses need another animal, ideally another horse but other live stock will do also.
As for riding and learning I would do that in a private pasture.
If you are a beginner you might be more comfortable with a private paddock, but your horse needs to be around the other horses, so if there is a way to do part-private and part-shared, that would be the best. Congratulations on your new horse!!
I'd turn her out by herself and let the other horse get use and the smell of her for a while. you can also walk her to where they can come sniff her . Yes there will be some running kicking and chasing till she finds her order in the herd as she is a new member she'll have to find her place. just watch them when you do turn her out with them.Hope everything goes well .Good luck
If you put her with other horses, you cannot keep track of how much she is getting to eat, the amount of water she is drinking, or if her bowels are working properly. Does that answer your question?
I would not just turn her lose in the paddock with the other horses I would keep an eye on her at first. Horses are herd instinct animals so they naturally want to be with other horses but they also have what is called a pecking order in the herd, and she would have to find her place in the herd.
You don't need to ride in the same pasture that she is kept in. When you are riding her you want her to only pay attention to you not to other horses.
good luck
i think your best thing would be to put your horse by her self for a couple weeks but put her where she can see the other horses and get to know them before you introduce them to her. i personally think just riding one on one wioth her until you are completly comfortable with her and start slowly having other people ride with you it is not always as easy to ride with other people until you have good confidence in your self
at first put her in the private paddock
then put her in the paddock with the other horses
make sure she knows the horses and gets a long with them bc you dont want your horse to get kicked or your horse kick another
i also dont like putting my mare out with geldings and
especially stallions....duh lol
I am an EQS major with proficiencies in all disciplines of riding, teaching, and most breeds. If you would like any help or need any more advise, feel free to email me.
i have had a fair bit of experience with horse'es. mainly brumbies. i would put abbey in a private paddock or even with 1-2 other horse'es.(for company) make sure that the other horse'es are not stallions! happy Horsing Days :)
usually you keep them alone is a paddock by themselves for the first week then try to put them in with others

What is the best beginner slope in the western US?
Longest flattest Bunney slope? What is the best beginner slope in the western US?
There is a nice fairly flat always smooth run at Crystal Mtn, Wa. The Summit at Snoqualmie has several, but they are shorter. To an experienced skier 3+ days, all bunny slopes are flat. It is a matter of perspective and experience. I'm sure that you will get other candidates for the best beginner slope, much of it is grooming and the terrain. You also have to contend with other skiers. Come join the fun. Take a series of lessons from a qualified professional ski instructor. Learn to do it safely and with courtesy. What is the best beginner slope in the western US?
I think you should ski in Colorado....especially Vail Resort...they have a little short chairlift that takes you to a giant bunny slope (not giant in steepness, giant in length!). Also, as you progress, they have trails that are alittle more difficult than that, so yeah.
Also, I learned at Copper Mountain in Colorado. Copper is my FAVE place to ski. It's amazing, great slopes, nice employees...I love it.
Northstar @ Tahoe is commonly referred to at flatstar. It's a pretty family friendly mountain, and has a lot of beginner slopes; if you're thinking of Tahoe. Have fun!
Ive always liked Schoolmarm at Keystone. Four O'Clock is a nice long flat groomer at Breck, but it does have a couple sections that are a little steep to be considered a bunny slope.
Deer Valley in Utah (right by Park City). Its definitely a beginner to intermediate hill all the way around.

Good question. This is funny becuase out of all the other retailers, I only know of one that has a section specifically for gas airsoft non-blowback. :-)
You guessed it, airsplat:
http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/GNB.h鈥?/a>
Take a look, there's about 20 or so guns to choose from.
If your looking for a good Green Gas Non-Blowback I would recommend either the Y%26amp;P 1911 Gas Airsoft Gun Non Blowback http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-YP-1911鈥?/a> or the YP M9 Gas Airsoft Gun NonBlowback Pistol http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-YP-M9.h鈥?/a> Both shoot well and are pretty accurate with 0.2g BB's.
I recently purchased the Y%26amp;P 1911 Gas Airsoft Gun Non Blowback. for $34.95 + s%26amp;h. Works Great
Go to walmart... there is a p9 stinger and it is only $24 and it has 275 it is fairly good dont waste all your money on a pistol save up and get an assault rifle or sniper
well my friend bought a breretta thet hits at about 400fps. its really durable. but its CO2. idk if you want a CO2 pistol.

Which DSLR Canon camera would be the best for a beginner?
I'd like to know which Canon camera would be the best to start off with. I'm thinking $500-$600 budget wise (or something around that is fine too). I guess your top 3 preferences would do.
Also, if the camera does not have Live View, would that make taking pictures harder? Is Live View a necessity?
Thanks.Which DSLR Canon camera would be the best for a beginner?
Nikon D40 is the most suitable for a beginner, and definitely the cheapest.
Also consider the Canon Rebel XSi or XTi, which are both inexpensive for DSLR cameras and very high quality.Which DSLR Canon camera would be the best for a beginner?
I think you are having a good budget.
Please check out this collection
http://techfreak.byteicon.com/category/d鈥?/a>
Canon EOS 400D, also known as Digital Rebel XTi
Once you get use to Live View, you'll wonder how you could have taken pictures without it--it's a compositional tool that's worthwhile.
Good luck!

Which digital camera is the best to purchase for a beginner?
Go for the Canon A540
Around $150
4X optical zoom
6 megapixel
Good Battery Life
Believe me just use the automatic setting and you'll be shooting like a pro..
This camera has setting for the shore, snow, different lighting conditiions.. You'll have a ball with this one!

Olympus FE - 170
its a very good camera for beginners because i have one and it is vry good aswell 6.0 million pixels 3x optical 2inch screen and it is thin. it is so easy to use, when you flip from menu to menu it tells you on screen what it is and simple buttons.Which digital camera is the best to purchase for a beginner?
If you've never taken photos before, you would probably be happy with most models. But if you're used to shooting film, you need to realize that most digital camera will have a lag time between pressing the shutter and capturing the image. (The amount of time varies with the camera model, and it might not be a concern for you, depending on what type of photography you take.) I think the reviews mentioned earlier might be a good place to check.
Kodak EasyShare with a printer dock. It takes very good quality pictures and it's not that expensive either:)
They have a few different kinds, too so you can get one that fits what you need and what fits your budget.
I would look at www.dpreview.com and see what you would like. If you do not know what you like then read the reviews for various cameras (they have hundreds of reviews) and see what the best bang for your buck ison there. All software is pretty much irrelevant if you use the windows or microsoft software. Any camera can be used with those and I find it quicker and easier than most softwares that come with cameras.

You need to see what you really know in order to make money by investing stock. That's always simple. Experienced investors are finally going back to basic. You know why? Just keep the following chart in your mind, then you will never lose your money at all. The more you learn, the more you lose.

Interesting is more a matter of personal taste. ';Investing for Dummies'; is a good beginning book.
N C has a good suggestion
1. The wealthy barber - even though its about mutual funds and not specifically the stock market, i'ts still a good book to learn how to manage money and become wealthy
2. Learn to Earn by peter Lynch, the title sounds a little corny but peter lynch is a very interesting writer. Peter Lynch was also one of the top money mangers in the U.S. He ran the magellan fund for fidelity and returned 29% a year and held over 1000 stocks in his portfolio. Very interesting read and meant for beginners.
Here is a website you can start to learn about the stock market with: TheMapleInvestor.com
Start with any investment books by Andrew Tobias. Then look for a copy of ';The Millionaire Next Door';, and ';The Millionaire Mind';.
Also - if you're in high school or college, be sure to take an economics class. Classes in finance and accounting would be helpful, too.
Screw Stocks... investing in stocks is like gambling in Las Vegas.
Invest in tax liens.
The interest rates are between 16% and 25% in most states. You can't lose. If the person pays their property tax.. you get your money back PLUS interest. If they don't pay their tax... the property goes into forcloser and YOU GET THEIR HOUSE.
Once you have the house you can sell it. Most houses cost between $100,000 to a million dollars each. Since there is no loan or mortgage.. when you sell the house you get ALL the money.. minus broker fees and taxes.
You sell a house that costs $200,000 and you can walk away with a minimum of $150,000 in CASH.
Do this over and over and you can quit your job.
The stock market is for people who are already rich and can gamble their money. If your still poor.. start with tax liens. Its safer and you don't have to worry about losing your money.

Auto and manuel driving, which one is better for a beginner?
I want to learn driving, I will buy a car in one day, but not the professional one, I use car for transport purpose, not for entertainment. i also want to save money, because I am a student, any suggestion?Auto and manuel driving, which one is better for a beginner?
For learning to drive, I think you will find it easier to learn on an automatic. Here is why:
Most learner drivers (and I have taught several), have problems with getting the gear shifting right. At the same time they are coming to grips with the other aspects of driving. Remove the gear shift thing from the equation in the beginning (by using an automatic).
When you are proficient at driving, changing lanes, and everything else, then tackle the gear shift thing. The very last person I taught to drive really benefited from this. It made my job teaching just so much easier as well.
I agree that a manual license (unrestricted car lic) is better than the Auto Only endorsement, but if you are having gear shift problems, any license is better than none.Auto and manuel driving, which one is better for a beginner?
If you're in the UK, which I believe, it's definitely better to train and take your test in a manual car if you can manage it. Then your licence will cover you for both manual and automatic. If you take your test in an automatic, your licence will only cover you for an automatic, not manual.
Manuals are much more fun to drive. My brother's first car was a manual, and he never knew how to drive one before he bought it. But he learned, and now manuals are all that he gets. I also know how to drive a manual, and I love driving them. I think you'll like manuals too after you learn how to use them.
Autos are obviously going to be easier at first. Manuels get better gas mileage tend to last longer and tend to be cheaper especially if buying used...
I own a manuel and LOVE it!! wouldn't drive a auto if could choose on my next car
It's best to learn on an automatic, so that you don't have to deal with gear shifting on top of everything else you have to learn. Once you become proficient at steering, stopping, starting, changing lanes, parking, etc, then you can learn how to drive a manual transmission.
If you are in a country that has a different class of license for manual transmission, you can practice until you are good with the automatic, then practice on a manual transmission car until you are good enough to take the manual test.
go for a manual.
heaps of people i now got an auto licence first, thinking they'd upgrade to manual later - but of course they never did!
get a manual license - it's really not that hard once you get the hang of it.
just getting an auto license is a cop out.
if u want to save money....manual....better gas mileage.
You don't say where you come from, but,if you're from the UK,you'd be better off learning with a manual, because if you pass your driving test in an automatic then your licence will only cover you to drive automatics, and you would have to sit a second test to drive a manual, whereas if you pass in a manual,it covers you to drive both types of vehicle.

Tips for a beginner electric guitar player?
I got an Academy electric guitar a couple of days ago with an amp that came with the guitar. I want to try playing ';Scotty Doesn't Know'; by Lustra. Do I have to tune my guitar in a certain way? Do I need a different amp? When I tried playing it, it sounds different. Any tips? Please help ! Thank you in advanced! :)Tips for a beginner electric guitar player?
Look up the tab for the song, and it will say what tuning its in. If you don't know how to tune it you should search for the tuning on google.
You won't be able to get the guitar to sound the same as it is in the song, but try changing the settings on your amp and make sure your guitar is tuned properly and it should sound good.Tips for a beginner electric guitar player?
As Lucien said, tune your instrument and the amplifier in accord to get the sound right. There is no question for different amplifier. It has come with the instrument implies it suits the instrument.

How difficult is it to learn drums and what is a good drum set for a beginner that isn't too expensive?
drums isn't hard to learn if you have your basic coordination intact, meaning having the foot pedal (controlled by the foot off course)hit the bass drum at the same time when your hands are playing(it's not as hard as it looks) but the big one is learning to play in time. Some get it right soon enough for other it takes longer to learn, give it try it comes naturally to some people.
As far as expense is concern, I'm not sure you'll have to research the brands but as a beginner you'll need to start with the basic setup(which means it'll be cheaper for ya) and that is one snare drum, a floor tom tom, two small tom toms (1 is slightly bigger than the other in diameter), I hi-hat(cymbals), 1 crash cymbal and one ride cymbal and you're set. If you're not sure what I'm talking about the bloke who are buying the drums from will know. You can get fancy with the eloborate kit later when you get good enough. How difficult is it to learn drums and what is a good drum set for a beginner that isn't too expensive?
The most importaint thing with drums is a a feel for the ';groove'; ie, the feel and the beat of whatever you are playing and playing with. The best thing to do is as soon as you've got a feel for how you set the drums up (where everything is and how it works) learn a basic drum beat (such as: eight notes on the high hat, Bass drum on 1 and 3, and snare on 2 and 4 (if you don't understand that now, you will soon and most musicians would be able to explain it to you)) and then find someone else with an instrument and jam!
With a little coordination and some practice, you sould be up and running in no time
As for drum sets, Musician's friend has been advertising begining sets as low as $350 US recently, you might check out their website. How difficult is it to learn drums and what is a good drum set for a beginner that isn't too expensive?
the others have answered the first question but a CB starter kit sounds really good for 拢300
its not hard first u gotta learn music theory which is easy then learn rudiments which is really easy and as u learn rudiments learn the drum set i guarantee once u do learn that (readin and all )u will play ne other percussion instrument cuz its the same (drum wise)

What is a good type of keyboard for a beginner?
i am just starting piano, but i want to get a nice, keyboard that sounds good. i don't want some cheapy, crappy toy.
if you know any good brands and models, that aren't too expensive, it would be way helpful. What is a good type of keyboard for a beginner?
Take a poke around ur neighborhood and see if anyone doesn't want their keyboard...just make sure its in gd condition!
If that fails u probably should check out the newspapers for some second hand keyboards...
If that fails too u would want to go and check out Yamaha's keyboards...they're at a reasonable price i believe...
However...if u are serious u would probably want to get a real piano after maybe a year or two...since the early stages would give u a chance to assess urself whether it would be worth it...ur teacher would give u feedback too...Just make sure u take it!What is a good type of keyboard for a beginner?
a good brand is Yamaha. as you've just started piano i would suggest to chose a keyboard with weighted keys (88 key model) so it has a similar feeling like playing on a grand piano.

Now, I know it can be used for Rock Band as well, but is it decent for an electronic drum set for a beginner? It has to be electronic so acoustics are out of the question and the price has to be around 300 dollars. Is the Rock Band Ion drum set a good beginner electronic drum set?
The Rock Band Ion Drums are definitely a good beginner drum set. When you get better you should try the real drums. You might like them even more.Is the Rock Band Ion drum set a good beginner electronic drum set?
Yeah it's ideal for a beginner, so is the Guitar Hero set, and also good to practice on without annoying the neighbors.
I've found quite a few Ion kits for under $200 here.

Hey im a beginner at airbrushing but does the size of the needle matter?
like im trying t do cursive letters and like i cant seem to get my lines thin enough. i feel like im using spray cans instead of a airbrush lol... so does the size of the needle matter??Hey im a beginner at airbrushing but does the size of the needle matter?
The size of the needle and the tip, along with the amount of air pressure being used are what dictates the thickness of the line. Smaller needle and tip = thinner lines as less paint is released.

What size dumbbells should i use i am a beginner?
im 5'2-5'3 125-128 pounds i just want to know good size dumbells for me i have 5 pounld and 8 pound is any of these te right size? What size dumbbells should i use i am a beginner?
Use the size that doesn't hurt you the most. I would start with the 5-pound set and do 3 sets of 10-15 reps; rest a minute; do 3 more sets; rest another minute; then do a final 3 sets. If your biceps aren't straining by the last set, you need to move up to the next weight you have. What size dumbbells should i use i am a beginner?
well find the weight that makes you tired and unable to do more after 15 reps. but i would suggest you talk to someone about proper lifting. or at least look it up. (because you seem young and younger people tend to injure themselves because lack of knowledge on weightlifting)
Get yourself some three's, then use three, then five, then you can combine three's and five's to make eights. Plastic-covered barbells are worth the extra money over ';ironman'; types.
start low. this will avoid pulled muscles.laser printers medicine cream car oil liquid powder

What kind of guitar would you recommend for a beginner?
are acoustic guitars or electric guitars easier to play? What kind of guitar would you recommend for a beginner?
fender starcaster/ electric
first act /acousticWhat kind of guitar would you recommend for a beginner?
nylon stringed classical guitars are fairly easier to play vs. steel stringed ones. :) you can opt for an inexpensive beginner's set or invest in a guitar that will last you years. not advisable to start learning on electric.
a fender. that's what i have. and Idk about the is the acousitic is eaiser than the electric

What kind of acoustic guitar is best for a beginner on a limited budget?
I have musical experience, I play piano and I'm studying violin performance in university. All my guitar playing friends recommend Epiphone, Washburn, or Takamine...Are they right?
I am a small woman, so I really would prefer a smaller sized guitar (like a folk body) but not a children sized one...I intend on playing around at music stores before I buy, but I want to know where to start...What kind of acoustic guitar is best for a beginner on a limited budget?
I am a small woman, too, and I just can't get my hand around the neck of a full-sized guitar. That's the key to know if you would be able to play a full-sized one or a 3/4 sized or spanish style one. It doesn't matter what brand your first guitar is really, just that you can afford it, it sounds good and it fits you and your style of playing. Going to a music store that specializes in guitars, asking questions and trying out the instruments is a great idea! Good luck in your search. What kind of acoustic guitar is best for a beginner on a limited budget?
the Seagull guitar company is excellent. theres one for like $370
Do you want fair prices? Check out Interstate music.com!
I have been forced to use some Epiphones and I have been stupid enough to try some Washburns - steer clear from those. Takamine, yes, very nice gutars. Yamahas are fairly good and rather cheap. If you have more money, Martins and Taylors are the way to go. Some Ibanez models are quite fine, too. Yamaha, Takamine, Martin and Taylor have smaller models, too - like either a folk body or 3/4 size, though I really doubt the 3/4s can produce a decent sound.
There is really no way to answer this question. You have to go to a music store and grab some guitars and start playing. While your friends are right in the name brands they recommend, neck length, width, the tension of the strings and the feel of the body all come into play and you'll just have to play around to see what feels the most comfortable. Who knows, you may just like an enourmous dreadnought! :)

Get a real estate license first.
Most of the pit falls that can take you down will be avoided by knowing the basics that you'll learn from getting your license. Than your ready for a qualified mentor to work with. It is so much easier for both of you when you both converse in the same language. The most successful appreciate not always having to re-invent the wheel.
That said I'm sure there will be some that want to teach from scratch so you know only their bad habits.

For anything remotly decent your going to have to pay. When I say pay I mean a small outlay a month.
You have to be careful as as soon as you wish to do anything that needs a database such as using a Content Management System such as Mambo,Joomla or PHPNuke etc and a decent forum you will need a Database of some sort. Many free ones don't allow this.
Also they are very limited in other aspects. I have found those that use a decent control panel such as cPANEL for developing your basic site are well worth the few $/拢 a month as you will get a better feel of how many things hold togehter.
www.names.co.uk is ok for the first initial outing into building your website but to me the panel becoame a bit frustrating.
I have now moved to another privder that uses cPANEL as this to me personally is a better form of basic control.
Hope this helps

Anyone got any tips for a beginner world of warcraft player?
all in title. Everylittle bit of advice from race to what to do off the bat will help. =]Anyone got any tips for a beginner world of warcraft player?
Ehm. Well ok; Two factions, Horde of Alliance. Alliance are your sorta Lord of the rings stylyl elves and humans and dwarves. While the horde is your orcs, minotaur (tauren) and rastifarian trolls.
Lots of different classes. Though they all fit into certain catagories. In the game, to achieve the hardest things, you have to team up with people in 'parties'. In parties of 5, you tend to have 3 types of people. The tank; defends other people by keeping attacking monsters attacking him. The damage dealers; help a group by doing as much damage as quickly as possible to the monsters that are attacking the tank. And finally the healer, a healer has spells and abilities that replenishes others health bars. Parties tend to have one tank, 3 damage dealers, 1 healer. Tanks tend to be warriors, paladins, druids or death knights. Healers could include; shaman, priests, druids, paladins. And damage dealers could include any class.
You may note that some lists include more than one class. Thats because these classes are known as hybrids. They can fullfil two rolls. However, they must be talented for it. To explain. Once past level ten, you will recieve one 'talent point' everytime you level. These talent points can be spentr in a table (press N). This table has three tabs, or talent trees. These determine the area in which your character has specialized. For example; a druid who has spent lots of talent points in 'feral' makes a suitable tank, while a druid spending talent points in 'restoration' makes them a suitable healer.
2 types of offensive capabilities. Spells. Its all in the name, depending on the class you chose, youl shoot damaging bolts, or hurtful rays etc at an enemy, or even cast regenerative 'healing' spells.
Or Melle. Melle is hitting stuff. With an axe, with a pitchfork etc.
Very few classes tend to be both. One of the easiest mistakes is hitting things with a stick as a spell caster.
When you start WoW most things will be explained to you in the little tutorials. However, it never hurts to google 'how to play a mage' (if mage is your chosen class) for hints and tips.

Whats a good motorcycle for a beginner?
I've never ridden before but I want to learn so I'm looking for a bike not too expensive and that will go a long ways and I can keep for a long time. Any suggestions? By the way I'm a 16 year old girl from MN so I do have a provisional drivers license.Whats a good motorcycle for a beginner?
get you a cheap scooter for a starter; thats the best way to go; thats what I did; just about everyone in my family that has a motorcycle suggested that to me; most of them have 20-30 year experience with bikes .... you wont be as nervous going to a motorcycle; there are smaller sized scooters 50cc; that go about 40 miles an hour; or get a bigger scooter 150 that goes about 60 miles an hour; then there are 250cc scooter that go about 70-80 miles an hour; there all priced under 4000 dollars; alot of the 50cc scooters are 500-1000 dollars; you can get a 150 for 1400-2000; I have a 150 and its awesome; 250 scooters are around 2300-3000 dollars.
A NEW Motorcycle goes for around 10,000 dollars-20,000

I'm 16 and live in Minnesota also. (This is funny). I live in North branch area about an hour north of the cities. I'm just starting riding. I've ridden mopeds before and that was good because it was a little 50cc motor in it. but I got a 175 now and it's good. I recommend start small and then trade in or sell and buy bigger the more experienced you get. Also, always wear a helmet and be safe. My dad's a fireman and first responder emt. He hates having to go to motorcycle accidents and seeing kids dead all because they weren't wearing a helmet or wearing leather. DRIVE SAFE AND DON'T BE STUPID!!!
Thanks!
id suggest picking up a cheap dirt bike so you can learn to ride and know if you really want to. Honda's are always good though
You can't do better than a dual-sport bike. 250-class should be good for a beginner. There is a fair range available, so it is hard to recommend a particular one without knowing more about you.
I just started on a Yamaha tw200. Very very easy to learn on, gears are very forgiving, if you mess up, it will jump a little but not throw you off. It's a dual sport, that will be great on any trail - you can practice there, or on the streets. The tires are more for dirt trail, but you can change it for street tires for under $200. Not too heavy. I'm 106 lbs and picked it up a couple of times already. (on dirt). Easy to sell, New price is under $4000, so buying used one may not worth it. I was lucky, mine was on sale for $2900, shiny, new. The weakness is the highway, just like for most 200, 250 motorcycles. This one will be ok at 60mph, 65mph. It hauled my husband's 245 lbs butt with no problem.. I use it 90% on dirt, I wanna live loooong.. If not, for more street use, a little more $$, look for Kawasaki Ninja 250, maybe even used. That should be easy to resell it when you want to. I just wanted new, if someone wrecks it, should be me. Not worth to save $500 and wonder how it was abused before me, when will it stop working and how much will be to fix it. Take the MSF course, (I did not yet though, but will) and you might have an idea what else you can buy.

What's would be a good start to exercises when someone is a beginner?
Just wondering because I had several people who came on the chat and asking those questions and I just want to see what your answers going to be. Also two more questions. Does anyone use P90X before? if so, does it work for you?
Thanks
CGAWhat's would be a good start to exercises when someone is a beginner?
I'm on P90X right now.
IT ABSOLUTELY WORKS.
but there's a catch.
its no easy deal, its the hardest thing i have ever done
and it takes a lot of motivation to get up every morning
and finish the workouts
so if you ';bring it'; like Tony Horton says and give it your best
you will truly see unbelievable results
i'm about halfway through the program and my body fat percentage has gone from 14% to about 8 or 9% which is insane.
If you are a beginner p90x might not be fore you , its a really advanced exercise program but if you like a challenge go for it, you can always modify the moves for the first week or two to make it easier and get used to it.What's would be a good start to exercises when someone is a beginner?

What is the best pair of aggressive in line skating Rollerblades for a beginner?
Any Razor, Usd, or Roces would be a good choice. i would pick a hard boot to begin with because they provide lots of support and are more durable than soft boot skates. Take a look on aggressivemall.com or rollerwarehouse.com to see which styles fit your taste.
I'm going to start running, for highschool, and i'm going in to 8th grade. I need a beginner workout program?
Ok, well i wanna start running, and i can run 3 miles, but only if i'm running like a 5K. I dont train, but i wanna do XC in highshool and get prepared. I wanna start getting up to 6-7 miles every other day. What's a good workout planI'm going to start running, for highschool, and i'm going in to 8th grade. I need a beginner workout program?
well I'm in cross country and I'm a distance runner. What we do is run 7-8 miles evryday at my school. We do hills not evryday mostly evryother day.what you should do is star running with 4 miles or if you're running more ven better and then increase a mile evryweak or evryother weak you stioll have time.Get a diet high in protein. Most coaches say high on carbohydrates but I think they make you gain weight and you feel heavier running.Protein gives you energy and build muscle.Work on hills, drink a lot of water.be carefull witrh you shoes because you might get shin splints.you have to learn or get used to running under the sun.it's going to be extremely hot during x-c and that gets you slower. Also run on saturday not only 5 days a week but on saturdays just do speed like 12 two hundreds which is half a lap of a track. If you are bearly startting start with a mile and increase everyweak a mile.X-c is hardedr than track but fun.YOU HAVE TO BE DEDICATED TO ITI'm going to start running, for highschool, and i'm going in to 8th grade. I need a beginner workout program?
If you are only going into 8th grade then i would suggest not going farther than 5-6 miles at the most. In middle school cross country you don't run nearly as long as in high school, and you don't want to get hurt by overworking your muscles.
But anyway you are going to have to start training if you want to be prepared. I suggest starting out by running 3-4 days a week, maybe 1 or 2 miles per day. You want to start small to make the transition into regular running easier. After two weeks, 2 miles should be pretty easy so you can increase to 3 miles on a few days of the next week. After two weeks of 3 miles, go up to 4 and so on.
I really do think you should stop at 5 miles because when I was in middle school, we never ran farther than 4.5 and you will be able to start doing longer mileage once you actually get into high school. So once you get to or 5 mile runs, maybe work in some tempo runs too. That means going on a 2 or 3 mile run at a faster pace than your usual slower long distance pace. Try to run it as you might in a race, but not totally all out. If you do those twice a week and regular runs three times a week, you will be more than ready for cross country.
Start going out 15 min turn around and go back. When you feel that's not hard enough step it up to 20 min the 25, 30 etc.

Should i enroll in a summer volleyball camp if i'm a beginner in volleyball?
i want to join the volleyball team for my sophomore year in h.s(i can't do it now, because volleyball season is almost done in my school) but i've never really played the game for a team or anything like that, so i was wondering if they have volleyball camps for beginners. i wanted to at least make jv so i want to go to a really good camp!!!Should i enroll in a summer volleyball camp if i'm a beginner in volleyball?
yes I think that is a great idea. Camps help a lot, plus you would be gaining playing and ball handling experience right before try outs.
another thing to look into is club volleyball. it's in volleyball's off season. you would get to play on a team and go to tournaments. this is great for beginners! It gives a lot of court time and hands on experience. I have watched many beginner volleyball players play club and by the next year, they are just as good if not better than the girls who had been playing for awhile.
Good Luck!Should i enroll in a summer volleyball camp if i'm a beginner in volleyball?
I think you should definately do it. They can teach you a lot at camp. When camp is done you still need to practice everyday!
deff.. get all the practice you can especially since you are starting to learn so late. I would even start earlier than summer if possible. Work hard. and have fun. It's a great sport once you learn to play and get competitive.
Sure. That's how you learn.
i know in my school you cant make the jv team if you are a junior, but if you really want to play and you have some natural ability, then i think you should go all out. b/c if you are a beginner and really want ot play, that's what it takes. hope i answered your question.
Definitely! Camp is the time to learn and polish up your skills. And it's definitely better to experiment with technique at camp than at tryouts or during an important game.
Volleyball camp would be great for you. I learned the basics after the 2000 olympics because I wanted a solid foundation for passes and sets. You really need to get a good understanding of the game and all the intricacies between positions. Ball control is essential and you should get a good deal of experience in a camp setting. If you can, watch college volleyball and learn how the players block and their timing, good luck, its a great sport.
ABSOLUTELY JOIN A CAMP! your high school probably offers a summer camp and most camps do not require a certain amount of experience unless they have different levels find camps in your area im sure there are many colleges that have a volleyball program in your city probably have a camp do everything you can to join camps over the summer even take private sessions with someone you know or find that is an adult and had played volleyball and is very good at it. it will be difficult to make a team at that stage with no experience but work hard do camps join clubs take private sessions do all you can
hope you make it
i say yes, i think that you learn more at camp and it is super good for beginners, it doesnt really matter what level you are at vollyball, camps teach you everything you nedd to know!
yes its a great idea go for it you can do anything and everything you believe in!! good luck.
OH i went to one of those camps and they helped me a TON wen i was a freshman and i am now a junior!!:) soo gooood luckkerZ

Just use any Assault Rifle. They're good all around weapons for newbies to the game. Especially the M16A4. You could use about any pistol. Attach a grenade launcher to your M16, and use Stopping Power. Extreme Conditioning it a good idea, and you'll want Frag Grenades. Otherwise, you could just use the Assault Class.
ok ok look it all depends my person fav is mp5 with red dot and stoping power and deep impact i went 48 and 3 with it 4 times my kill deth wass0.56 now its 1,08 my gamertag is lilman095 i can help no im not the best player but i can teach you really well i havent played in about a year though but bet im still good but trsut me use the mp5 or m21 it will help

If You can get me prices that would be great also length of courses how long it takes to complete and Key topics they will learn,How much are training classes usually at pet smart the class that i am interested in is the Beginner Education?
There are multiple classes, Puppy, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. There are also specialized classes, such as Click-A-Trick, Potty Seminars, and Private training. The first 4 are $109 for 8 weeks. The puppy class and beginner classes are the same, but the puppy class is for dogs %26lt;5months. Expect to learn about basic essentials to owning a dog, and basic commands, such as ';sit'; ';leave it'; ';down'; ';take it.'; If you have any questions about it, just ask a trainer at petsmart, its their job to tell you about the classes :PHow much are training classes usually at pet smart the class that i am interested in is the Beginner Education?
Please do not go to PetsMart for a puppy class. I can tell you, having attended one, they are not worth your money. Contact your local kennel club, they can refer you to a reputable trainer.
Most classes are around $80.00 and last 8-10 weeks.

Where can I get a low cost pottery wheel for a beginner?
we don't need anything fancy, it's for a 12 year old, thanks for your answers!!
Also where's a good place to get clay?Where can I get a low cost pottery wheel for a beginner?
If your 12 year old has never done pottery the most low-cost way is find a class for him/her. If they turn out not to get enthusiastic about wheel throwing you don't have a wheel nobody is using around. Also you don't just need a wheel, you need to deal with the clay, glazes and kiln for firing as well. Also, unless you personally have experience, the child will have much more fun with a teacher. Teaching yourself to throw pots can be a rather frustrating experience.
If you are teaching yourself I would check classified ads, craigs list and ads in pottery store for a second hand wheel. But even if you can teach yourself, you still will have to deal with firing, so I still think a classes is the way to go.

I just started guitar and I plan to teach myself with the help of some friends. However I can already play some simple songs such as smoke on the water, Wild thing, good riddance and a couple more. I would like to get a guitar book that teaches all the basics any good suggestions on which guitar books are the best?Any suggestions on a beginner guitar book?
Not this one - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vOAY-zURlG鈥?/a> :-)
Apparently Bert Weedon is very good, but a bit old school these days.

Does anyone know any good programing languages for a beginner?
I'm planing to get a miners in computer programing and want to get a head start.
if a program language is highly math based then a math book would be nice to.Does anyone know any good programing languages for a beginner?
I'd suggest finding out what they teach in the course and starting in that. A lot of people might suggest BASIC or something, but some of those earlier languages can actually teach you bad habits that are difficult to ';unlearn'; later on. Here's a summary:
Assembly: Pretty much as low-level as you can get. Not a good starting language as it's completely dependent on the specific processor you're programming for.
BASIC: Very easy to learn. Also very easy to learn bad habits from. Also tends to be very low-performance compared to other langauges. Things like Visual Basic are reasonably popular in the commercial world due to the fact that any idiot programmer-wanna-be can work with it!
Cobol/Fortran/Lisp/Prolog/etc: Esoteric languages developed for specific tasks that aren't very good as starter languages.
Pascal: Very structured and easy to learn. Also tends to be good at helping you identify and fix mistakes.
Ada: Similar to Pascal, but very unforgiving of mistakes. A favorite with the military as it's generally more difficult to introduce some of the types of bugs endemic to other languages. Somewhat obsolete now, although some universities still teach it due to its perceived relative ';purity';.
C: A very generic, flexible and powerful language. Can be very confusing for beginners, especially those with a background in more structured languages like Pascal, but once you get over the initial learning curve you can do pretty much anything in C. A good compiler will generate code almost as fast as hand-optimized assembly.
C++: An extension of C, it's fully backward compatible with it but adds extra features to make it easier to implement code that adheres to the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm. There are two schools of thought: those that think beginner programmers should start off with OOP, and those that have a brain!
Java: Can be thought of as an extension to C++ in many ways....but without the dreaded pointers that are responsible for so many bugs in C and C++. Its main advantage is its cross-platform nature, allowing any program to work (in theory) on any platform in the world. For various reasons Java hasn't quite made good on this holy-grail-like promise, and its use in the commercial sector remains limited.
C#: Developed by Microsoft, this is arguably THE best language in the world when it comes to ease of use and flexibility....provided you limit that flexibility to Windows programming, XBox 360 programming or web development. Assuming, that is, that you're not too worried about performance.
Everyone will have a different answer to your question, but I would suggest this: start off with Pascal in order to learn structured programming....sooner or later your school or university will probably want you to do something with it anyway. As soon as you feel comfortable with it (e.g. a couple of months) switch to C. From there make the gradual transition to C++. With a good grounding in those languages, you'll pretty much be ready to take on anything. What you'll find as you get further into programming is that in the real world there are all sorts of languages and scripting systems and proprietary software that companies use. In the long term the specific languages you know isn't anywhere near as important as the skill of being able to quickly pick up any new language as needed.Does anyone know any good programing languages for a beginner?
Why not try Visual Basic?
If you want math-based programs, try Python.
People call programmers a lot of different kind of professionals.
If you want to be a Programmer:
... then C is a must, OOP is not really something you need at start. With C you learn the hard way, pointers, memory leaks, stacks overflows ecc... But you will know how things really works inside the bowels of computers.
If you want to be a Software Architet:
... then Java is your language, OOP is to be learned even berfore you know how to print ';hello word'; on the console. Then from j2se you go up to j2ee, application servers, XML, Web-Services, Ajax, HTML, css.... all web 2.0 techs.
If you want to be a 'Scripter' (I don't think the word exists ... but the job does):
then javascript is for you, or python. Scripting can be an extremely powerfull tool, (expecially in the gaming industry), you can't imagine how much scripting is done to make things 'really' work.
Is up to you.
It depends on what you want to accomplish with your programming skill set. There's web-based programming, object-oriented programming, etc.
If you've never had any programming experience, I'd recommend starting with Basic. It's an older language, but has fairly simple syntax and will give you a good grasp of what programming consists of before you jump head first into C++, C#, or Java. Also, if you prefer programming for a GUI interface try Visual Basic for the point, click, %26amp; code approach.
Python is a good introductory language.

being an e-commerce student and according to our curriculum, the first programming language we've learned is the Turbo C and C++. Then, JavaScript and Visual Basic. The most easiest programming language is the Visual Basic or VB.
Haskell
It's very rarely used in the industry as a whole, but it's a great tool for learning the basics of programming. It supports functions, recursion, strings, tuples and various other concepts which are fairly important for a programmer to learn early on.
Once you've learnt the basics through Haskell, I'd recommend progressing to another language for larger projects. Perl 5, PHP 5/6 and Java are all good languages with object-orientation and a large number of third-party libraries available which is useful when building larger programs.
I would suggest C++. I'm only 14 and I'm learning it. It's great but it gets harder after some time. Most professionals use it to make games which is why I'm learning it.

What would be a good workout routine for a beginner?
I used to always exercise but i've fallen off track because I got home-schooled and now I don't have Athletics as a class and I really want to start again to be healthy so what would be good like how many sit ups, push ups and stuff like that should I do? If you need my weight its 104 and i'm 15 yrs (i'm not skinny just small framed) Thanks so much for your help : )What would be a good workout routine for a beginner?
you do sound tiny. you need to have cardio as well as muscle training in your workouts. try this:
warmup with jumping jacks for 30 seconds
then front legs kicks for 30 seconds
jumping jacks for 30
kicks for 30
to get your heart going
then jump an invisible jump rope for 1 minute
then 15 squats
10 pushups
jumping jacks
etc........stuff like that. then do some bicep curls, oblique (side of waist) crunches and regular crunches.
you can also try swimming if you have a pool handy and just walking for an hour or so
good luck! What would be a good workout routine for a beginner?
Guys don't like mussely girls but they do like when they have a nice tone so you want to do more of something rather then have alot of weight.
100 sit ups, add 5 every week
run for 10 minutes add 2 minutes every week.
if you go to a gym work on your legs, guys like sexy legs
Start out slow, maybe jogging for about ten minutes, then 5 sit ups and 5 push-ups, you can increase your workout when you feel more fit. And remember to eat healthy, or there isn't even a point in working out.

10 pushups
jumping jacks
etc........stuff like that. then do some bicep curls, oblique (side of waist) crunches and regular crunches.
you can also try swimming if you have a pool handy and just walking for an hour or so
And remember to eat healthy, or there isn't even a point in working out.
go jogging

There are alot of sites that give you practice tests,
which surprisingly are very similar to the actual test
i went to as many sites as i could find and took their tests
but i spent close attention to the actual one put up by my dmv

and take that test a million times till you know all the answers by heart

What is the best laptop to buy for a beginner college student?
i need a computer with good quality and that works rather quickly. please give details on hard drive space and pricesWhat is the best laptop to buy for a beginner college student?
Here's why you should get a Mac:: There are NO CONS. The MacBook does both WinBloze and OSX, no other computer can make that statement. You have the best of the best. Apple Stores are popping up all over and you can make an appointment for a time and date, bring your computer there. They will troubleshoot it and fix it if it's a software problem it's FREE. What other computer company has stores and can make that statement? Get the 2.4 GHz with 4Gigs Ram and you got a speed machine like mine. The WinBloze people may not like a Mac computer but I'll bet they all have iPods. Go Mac and Never Go Back. Mac, the User Friendly Computer.
If you read the questions here you will notice that most problems are about every computer except a Mac.What is the best laptop to buy for a beginner college student?

What's the best environment for allowing a beginner rider to ride a new horse?
we just bought an 8 yr old gelding who is gentle and well-broke, but we have a young child (9 yrs old) who has taken lessons who will ride it. we are housing it with a two yr old mare (good dispostion but loves to bolt and run) and an old shetland stud (who is quite contrary). should i put these other two in the corale while she's riding? What's the best environment for allowing a beginner rider to ride a new horse?
Your are going to want to put them in a mother pen. riding in a pasture where there are other horses is unsafe for a child. Sometimes their horse can get spooked more easily, and sometimes they want to play more if the other horses are running around. To keep your horse in ';tune '; with what you are asking i would pen up the others. Also you might have a situation called ';barn sour';, and they don't want to leave their ';friends';. This makes it difficult to control or even enjoy a ride on your horse. Make the process as less stressful as you can and as enjoyable for your child as you can. What's the best environment for allowing a beginner rider to ride a new horse?
Let her ride the horse in a smallish space with no other horses that might be distracting. She should practice like this for a while before trying to ride with the other horses around, especially a stallion (even a small one).
Can you keep the others in their stalls during lesson time,
or let lessons happen in a round pen while they are at pasture?
I'd keep them out of the way while she's riding, particulary when the new horse and your kid are getting to know each other - the less distractions for both of them the better.
It depends if he/she is an experienced rider or not. I would tend not to put them in because they could be a bad influence on your gelding (especially the mare.) I would think it would be best not to put them in unless there are 2 experienced horse handlers in with them ready to hold them if they get out of hand.
You should definately keep the other 2 away while she is riding.
I WOULD DEFINATELY KEEP THEM SEPERATED, HORSES TEND TO ACT LIKE ONE ANOTHER, A FOLLOW THE LEADER TYPE THING. IF YOU HAVE A ROUND PEN I WOULD TRY WORKING WITH YOUR GELDING THERE, IT'S A SMALLER, SAFER AREA. WORK WITH HIM DAILY GETTING HIM USED TO YOUR CHILD AND BEING IN THAT KIND OF ENVIORNMENT. THE LONGER YOU WORK WITH HIM THE BETTER HE WILL BE FOR YOU. OVERALL IT WOULD PROBABLY BE YOUR SAFEST BET, FOR YOUR HORSE AND CHILD.
with a new horse it is best to ride it in a small area without other horses, especially if the two year old mare loves to bolt. If that horse decides to bolt while your child is riding it may trigger the gelding to run with her causing a bad situation.
The best bet is to begin riding in a small open space that is inclosed by some form of gate and is away form any other horse or animals. This way your horse is in no surrounding in which it will get spooked etc. Good luck with ur riding
